    OVERVIEW:

    Lexington Legends Professional Baseball Team is a proud member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. The team is assembling a Front Office that is driven to succeed and establish Lexington Professional Baseball as a model franchise. An Account Executive will play a vital role in building and capitalizing on the momentum of our franchise, while continually building relationships and laying the foundation for long-term success. Ideal candidates will have a focus on customer service and salesmanship, while naturally applying core values of imagination, enthusiasm, and self-confidence.

    JOB TYPE:
    • Status: Full-Time / Salary & Benefits (Medical/Dental/Vision Coverage)
    • Hours: October-March: Normal business hours with supplemental engagement at community and special events April-September: Flexibility to work additional nights and weekends beyond normal business hours
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Persistent sales of season and group tickets through lead generation, cold calls, and client referrals. This includes daily phone calls, emails, and setting up face-to-face meetings with current and prospective clients.
    • Make a minimum of (50) outbound sales calls each day to new leads, past customers, and single-game buyers with the goal of generating new ticket revenue.
    • Lead potential prospects effectively through the sales cycle in order to convert opportunities into sales or confirmed appointments.
    • Actively attend and engage at community networking events throughout the surrounding area.
    • Generate strategies aimed to cultivate relationships with niche groups within the Lexington market, including youth sports, schools, community organizations and other special focuses.
    • Create, promote, sell and implement a variety of group theme nights
    • Provide exceptional customer service with every guest, partner, and client interaction, including Intimidators home games and non-baseball events.
    • Other team-related duties as directed by General Manager and Chief Revenue Officer
    Outline of Responsibilities could fluctuate and change at any course of time
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Required - Minimum (2) years of previous sales experience Preferred
    • Experience in Minor League Baseball or other professional sports Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited university or college
