Job summary
Oaktree is seeking a Vice President to play a leading role in its private credit middle office. The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with fund structures and terms common to alternative investment markets.The individual is expected to be a subject matter expert in the private credit investment lifecycle, with a deep understanding of the processes required to execute transactions and administer assets post-close.
Responsibilities Include collecting managing data information about prospective existing investments support portfolio management decisions investor reporting investor diligence portfolio construction driving effort build enhance analytical frameworks tools monitor report Oaktree's private credit businesses participating data collection support valuation existing investments acting key point person deal-closing activities providing investment allocations consistent policy client guidelines facilitating funding transaction settlement assisting cash management liquidity planning coordinating internal external stakeholders ensure accurate efficient deal fundings asset set up monitoring accuracy overseeing various loan agency function ongoing investment activities including assist managing banking custodian facility relationships outside stakeholder reporting communication banks rating agencies co-investors auditors parties monitoring investment positions ensure coupon royalty payments received expected drawdowns executed on time tracking company-level financial covenant compliance or other information rights partnering portfolio reporting review quarterly valuations marketing materials accuracy developing understanding roles responsibilities systems processes across each functional group serve central contact between Investment Team back office partnering professionals counsel tax accounting compliance professionals good cross-functional communication coordination throughout process.
