    Job Overview

    Description

    Seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans within the VA's disability benefits process.

    Responsibilities include reviewing behavioral health records electronically via a secure Web Portal and conducting in-person comprehensive assessments on each Veteran.

    Completion of Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal is also required.

    The Licensed Psychologist DOES NOT make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration handles all determinations, utilizing the findings from the DBQs.

    This role is solely for Disability Assessments on Veterans, with no treatment or medication prescription involved.

    On average, the Licensed Psychologist will assess 3 to 4 Veterans per day.

    Position as an Independent Contractor.

    Schedule: 3 Days - Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays

    This role requires IN-PERSON presence.

    Requirements

    • Ph.D. or Psy.D. graduate from an APA Accredited program/school.
    • Active and unrestricted Psychology license holder.
    • Meets VA's credentialing requirements.
