    Bartender Job Description at Duffy's
    Reports to:

    General Manager
    Job Summary:

    Responsible for providing exceptional service to ensure a memorable experience for our bar guests.
    Major areas of responsibility:

    • Go over MVP program with guests.
    • Demonstrate strong knowledge of MVP Program.
    • Accurately enter guests' orders in POS system.
    • Present menus to guests, answer inquiries about menu items, and suggest upgrades to enhance their dining experience and increase check average. Describe the preparation of menu items, including ingredients and cooking methods.
    • Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
    • Take payments for all orders.
    • Verify guests' age by checking identification to comply with alcohol purchase requirements.
    • Keep bars, work areas, and tables clean.
    • Proactively manage issues related to guests' excessive drinking by alerting managers.
    • Prepare all alcoholic beverages for bar guests and dining room customers via the service bar.
    • Serve liquor, wine, and bottled or draft beer.
    • Ensure the bar is stocked with beer, wine, liquor, and necessary supplies like ice, glassware, napkins, and straws.
    • Serve food to bar patrons.
    • Follow drink recipes and specifications.
    • Cut fresh fruit for drink garnishes.
    • Organize bottles and glasses to create appealing displays.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas and coolers. Properly store incoming deliveries.
    • Interact with coworkers and customers in a positive and professional manner.
