    Description:

    THIS POSITION IS ON THE OXFORD COLLEGE OF EMORY UNIVERSITY CAMPUS, 36 MILES EAST OF ATLANTA.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Coordinates efforts to ensure that information systems support departmental objectives and information management needs.
    • Supports efforts to ensure that information systems upholds overall organizational mission and objectives.
    • Works closely with departmental customers to conduct business analysis and identify business objectives and requirements.
    • Assists in the development of technology plans and strategies.
    • Coordinates the planning and implementation of systems related projects.
    • Maintains a high level of client satisfaction with Information Services as provided to assigned clients.

    ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

    • Works closely with academic and administrative units, i.e., stakeholders, to identify business objectives and define processes.
    • Identifies opportunities for process improvement.
    • Ability to create or run queries to gather, validate, or merge data sets from multiple sources, ensuring data is secure at all times.
    • Assists in identifying and developing solutions for customers' information technology needs.
    • Manages projects, provides project support, and reporting, and advises on best practices for data conformity.
    • Develops and maintains positive, collaborative relationships with academic and administrative units, i.e., stakeholders.
    • Documents app requirements.
    • Creates training materials and test scripts for any software changes or updates.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree and five years of position specific subject matter knowledge and/or experience in planning and applying information technology to one or more business functions OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Masters degree is strongly preferred.
    • Successful candidates will possess strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills and possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at problem-solving with the ability to navigate a complex work environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service, the ability to work collaboratively, and comfort working with ambiguity.
    • Possess a high level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality with sound judgment and discretion.
    • Experience working with various technologies including advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, mass email applications, relational databases, project management software, and CRM systems.
    • An aptitude in mastering new software, applications, and databases.
    • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, time management, organization, and customer service skills.
    • The ability to train others to use IT-related software applications and create reference guides when appropriate.
    • Proven ability to work independently developing work plans on assigned projects, monitoring progress, and tracking to completion in Asana.

    NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
