Job summary
Supervises all the activities performed by the Respiratory Care staff on assigned shift Ensures adequate staffing and coverage for the level of respiratory care that is needed Maintains adequate inventory of equipment and supplies Confers with Administrative Director and Medical Director in planning for Respiratory Care Services being offered Communicates with attending physicians when necessary to adjust respiratory care to meet patient needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree or matriculation into Bachelor’s Degree program within 12 months preferred Graduate of a COARC Accredited Respiratory Care Program Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care Licensed by the NCRCB BLS certified by the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 5 years in Respiratory Care 3 years of critical care experience 1 year previous employment experience as a clinical supervisor preferred
