    Position Summary:


    We are looking for a UX Designer-Researcher who can collaborate with our Pax8 Enterprise Employee tool admins and our Pax8 employee end users to continually improve the employee user experience.

    You will own individual design and research projects, view behavioral metrics, and track progress of your suggested improvements to the employee user experience.

    In order to understand painpoints and opportunities, you will plan and execute employee-centered research, including generative interviews, concept-testing, contextual inquiry/observations, evaluative unmoderated studies, surveys, and usability testing.

    You will communicate your findings and design recommendations to the team, and help foster a deep understanding of our employees and their workflows using our toolsets.


    Essential Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with Employee tool admins to produce impactful design solutions
    Participate in customer insight activities, identifying research opportunities on the projects and incorporating findings into the design
    Advocate for and have core knowledge for web accessibility best practices and usability guidelines
    Grow competencies and skills; dig deeper into specific aspects of design and research, working to become an expert
    Plan and execute mixed methods user-centered research, including generative interviews, concept-testing, contextual inquiry/observations, evaluative unmoderated studies and usability testing
    Communicate research results, translating findings into actionable recommendations, advocating research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations
    Actively participate in project and recurring team meetings
    Build trusting relationships with employees and team members

    Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
    At least three (3) to five (5) years of combined experience working as a design professional and UX Researcher
    Ability to understand fundamental design deliverables and knowledge of when to use them (i.e., wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, etc.)
    Knowledge of user-centered design processes, testing methodologies, design systems, usability and accessibility concerns, and research tools
    Demonstrated ability to lead design conversations and advocate for customers while solving business problems
    Willingness to learn and apply behavioral metrics data into the practice
    An innate desire to learn, accept and provide feedback, and collaborate
    Ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
    Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
    Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
    Experience and knowledge of Sharepoint, Salesforce, and Marketo a plus
    A compelling portfolio that showcases your research, facilitation and presentation skills
    Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills and an ability to persuasively articulate design rationale
    Proficiency in various research methodologies, such in-person and remote facilitation, and contextual inquiries
    Ability to track and manage competing priorities
    Demonstrate the ability to work independently and identify further areas of research


    Required Education & Certifications:
    B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience


    Compensation:
    Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $89,000 or more depending on experience

    Note:
    Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates.

    Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
