Position Summary:

The Information Technology Systems Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing systems infrastructure and business software applications. This position supports both internal and external business partner technology environments.

Reporting Structure:

This position is part of the Information Technology team, located in Springfield, Illinois and reports to the IT Systems Supervisor who reports to the Chief Technology Officer.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in an IT environment administering and supporting systems infrastructure
Minimum of 3 years of experience administering Microsoft Windows servers
Strong understanding of Active Directory architecture and administration.
Proficiency in VMware ESXi and vCenter management.
Experience with SAN technologies and data storage management.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure
Valid Illinois Class D Driver's License

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in applicable field
Knowledge of PowerShell and/or other applicable scripting languages
Prior experience in a cloud-first environment

Physical Requirements:

The role may involve lifting and transporting of equipment up to 50 lbs
