    The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for Leading the plant's manufacturing operations to achieve customer satisfaction, meet critical business objectives, and drive the long-term success of the business by leveraging EBS tools and resources from the entire operation. The Manufacturing Manager will directly manage the operations of the machining, assembly, paint, and packaging operations of the Eaton Hydraulics Shawnee, OK facility. The Manufacturing Manager will plan, organize, direct, and control all facets of the manufacturing operations while guiding the cross-functional value stream teams. The Manufacturing Manager will drive performance and deploy a continuous improvement framework (CIF) to achieve or exceed financial plans, employee engagement, and strategic goals. Leveraging resources and motivating personnel to create a high-performance culture will be critical to success.

    Job Responsibilities


    Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to, the following.

    • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to supervisors and lead technicians.
    • Generate a highly motivated and committed workforce with an emphasis on the development of skills needed to accomplish safety, quality, on-time delivery, and product cost goals.
    • Effectively communicate information (in various types of meetings & settings) of a wide range of performance measures.
    • Proactively implements, promotes, and maintains a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and rule enforcement.
    • Coordinate, leverage, and appropriately utilize resources with other managers or coaches such as maintenance, materials, scheduling, logistics, and engineering, to resolve manufacturing problems, improve processes, and meet external and internal customer demands.
    • Drives the company's vision and mission by reinforcing ethics, values, and quality policies throughout its area of responsibility. Aligns workforce to the company vision through Eaton Philosophy workplace practices and beliefs that build trust, mutual respect, and teamwork between employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Acts as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring, and assessing continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate Danfoss Business System (DBS) processes and problem-solving tools such as 6S.
    • Promotes a quality culture by demonstrating customer focus and regularly communicating customer feedback to employees to facilitate collaborative problem-solving, drive continuous quality improvement, and ensure alignment/compliance with industry standards. When quality issues arise this position has the authority to stop the press if needed to conduct root cause analysis.
    • Actively participates in setting, communicating, and achieving department goals and objectives and develops and maintains performance metrics as required to monitor results and uses those results as a tool to identify and initiate process improvements within own work area. Coordinates and/or participates in continuous improvement teams in own or other areas to enhance plant results.

    • Minimum Requirements
    • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
    • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience is required.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
    • Position Criteria

    • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving ability.
    • Ability to provide and foster effective ongoing communication at all levels of the organization.
    • Good understanding and positive support of standard employee and administrative policies, practices, and legal requirements of business operations.
    • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with lean manufacturing in a production/manufacturing/operations environment.
    • Three years of supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing/operations environment.
