    POSITION:

    GRR Sumter has one open salary non-exempt Customer Service Representative role. This position reports to the Customers Service Supervisor. The position is 100% onsite.

    SUMMARY:

    Provide support to designated TSD's and/or geographical territory managed by a GRR Technical Sales Representative or Manager. This includes, but not limited to, profile submittal and resolution, addressing off-spec and/or compliance issues, creation of shipping documents, being cost effective when arranging transportation services, being diligent with communication in a proactive manner when initiating and/or responding to customer and departmental needs, obtaining, or creating multiple reports as requested.

    Understand and resolve problems which may significantly impact the organization's operations (on-time delivery, accuracy of billing information, communication of upcoming or existing issues, etc.)

    PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • In a proactive manner, contact all customers in an assigned geographical territory to request a pick-up of waste and/or to deliver a product. In addition to this, receive calls from clients and Sales Representatives to provide service as requested.
    • Coordinate, communicate and facilitate transportation with GRR personnel, Customers and Transporters in a proactive and timely manner. Create required paperwork necessary for shipments.
    • Manage all calls received from assigned clients, internal co-workers, Managers, and Sales Representatives to address such issues as special arrangements and/or coordination, billing, compliance, transportation, and credit collection.
    • Prepare multiple miscellaneous reports, spreadsheets for clients, internal or as requested by Supervisor/Manager.
    • Must be detailed oriented, follow specific instructions, able to multitask, communicate effectively with customers, vendors, co-workers, and management both orally and in written format.
    • Other duties as assigned by manager.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent, an associate degree preferred.
    • One year minimum work experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook. MUST have the ability to multi-task, follow-up to be organized and work as a team member.
    • Must have strong organizational skills and be self-disciplined to work independently in a group atmosphere.
    • Problem solving ability.
