Job Description

As a Data Science Intern in the Advanced Analytics Office at Western Digital, you will be a part of project teamsdeveloping and implementing integrated and automated data science solutions to improve efficiency and productivity in global operations.

You must be an independent problem solver, and have exceptional communication and organizational skills.

You will be directly responsible for building automated data pipelines, identifying data quality issues, and conducting exploratory data analysis and simple modeling.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:
Analyzingand organizingraw data

Integrating and processing data from different sources to build data pipeline

Preparingdata for prescriptive and predictive modeling

Developing analytical tools and programs

Conducting exploratory data analysis and modeling to find patterns in large data

Collaboratingwith data scientists and engineers
