    Position Overview:
    Edgesource is seeking a Data Scientist to provide data science solutions in support of our government Sponsor to a variety of high-profile requirements as the continued success will require the creation of increasingly more sophisticated application of AI/ML capabilities to quickly identify actionable information
    This position requires all duties to be conducted full-time / onsite at the Sponsor location near Vienna, VA

    Required Qualifications:
    Must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.

    Experience with machine learning methods, techniques and algorithms for natural language processing (NLP), computer vision (CV), and deep learning/deep neural networks.

    Experience in handling imperfection in data.
    Experience with statistical programming languages such as R, SQL, and Python.
    Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
    Experience in documenting data science work, participating in peer reviews and adhering to data science tradecraft best practices.
    Experience with data science tools.
    Must have strong problem-solving skills

    Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):
    Experience with the Sponsor's workflow and research application.
    Experience using JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint.
    Experience working in a team environment.
    Experience briefing technical topics to a non-technical audience.
    Experience in strong oral and written communication skills.
    Experience in strong leadership ability and experience juggling competing priorities
