    As the Grants Writer, you will be responsible for writing and managing the annual cycle of foundation and corporate grants with an emphasis on developing long-term partnerships with funders through identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. The Grants Writer is responsible for finding funding opportunities to expand the grant portfolio of the organization and maintaining accurate records of all submissions, reports, etc.

    This Position:

    We are interested in a Writer with a Bachelor's Degree in English, communications, social work, public policy, public health, counseling or related. Must have 1-2 years of grant writing experience and 1-2 years of experience with donor prospect research and donor relations. You must also be familiar with the Missouri Common Grant Application and of state and federal grants.

    A valid driver's license - or the ability to obtain one - is required, as is the ability to travel locally. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. in order to carry supplies and donations.

    This is an hourly position, starting at $22.88/hour. This position will work 32 hours per week.
