Job Title:
Sr Java Tech Lead - Java Full Stack Developer with AWS

Location:
Houston, TX or Columbus, OH (Hybrid - 3 days in office)(Onsite from day 1)


Job Summary:

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions.

You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.

You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.


Experience: 8+ years

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications

Required Skills:

• Java Full Stack(Java, Spring boot, Micro Services, Angular), AWS

• AWS development
• Developing, debugging, and deploying Java applications using AWS and writing code for Serverless applications.

Ability to identify AWS Services and use the APIs, AWS CLI and SDKs to write applications

Familiarity with common stacks like Java, Spring boot, Micro Services, Angular

Nice to Have Skills:

• Kubernetes, Databricks, Spark

Top 3 Must Haves:

• Java8
• Spring Boot/Microservices
• Angular

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Design clientside and serverside architecture
• Build the frontend of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage wellfunctioning databases and applications
• Write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
• Write technical documentation
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

Candidate Should Be:

Professional, Communicative, and approachable; willingness to collaborate, able to lead Onshore and Offshore Teams and play a client-facing role.
