Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry position requiring a KY or compact license and at least two years of current MS/Tele RN experience.

Details

Work in the Med Surg/Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
Patient assignment ratios are typically 1:5 or 1:6
Uses Meditech EMR system
Day shifts are from 07:00 to 19:30
Schedule alternates weekly between 36 and 48 hours
No on-call requirements
No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
Requirements

Active KY or Compact RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of current RN experience in Med Surg/Telemetry
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), all AHA only
Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
Additional Information

Bi-weekly orientation available for new starts
Travel pairs are not allowed unless in cases of multiple unit needs
Must provide two professional references and a copy of driver's license for consideration

American Traveler Job ID #P Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
