    About the Role:

    Wing is looking for a Sourcing Lead to join our Manufacturing and Supply Chain team based in Palo Alto, California. The ideal candidate has a passion for working in new technologies, demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices bringing products to production, and the ability to deliver results as part of a dynamic, cross-functional team.

    What You'll Do:
    • Engage and own the commercial relationship with manufacturing partners and are responsible for cost negotiations, continuity of supply, risk management, driving operational and cost efficiencies through process or design change, as well overall project execution
    • Successful Sourcing manager will thrive in a rapidly changing environment and constantly drive excellence across their own responsibilities as well as that of team members and partners. They frequently leverage strategic internal relationships to effectively collaborate with stakeholders. Make smart decisions with the information available, think and stay focused under pressure, and communicate concisely and effectively with senior management as well as peers
    • Identify and scale new and existing manufacturing partners as well as executing creative and strategic commercial deals to achieve goals around cost, supply, and quality
    • Measures performance and drives improvement in cost, quality, and delivery
    • Facilitates cross-functional teams (with a focus on engineering, purchasing, and buying) in formulating creative delivery mechanisms
    • Negotiates and manages the complex contractual aspects of supplier agreements
    • Strong experience in FATP and component sourcing in consumer electronics or drone industry
    What You'll Need:
    • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience
    • 10+ years of experience in supply chain development, sourcing management, or strong engineering background in product development
    • Analytical/negotiation skills
    • Ability to toggle between strategic and detail oriented thinking
    • Tenacious problem solving & issue resolution skills
    • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Managing the direct sourcing team
    • Ability to influence across multiple functional teams
    • Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and rapidly changing environments
    • Excellent communicators, capable of working in multinational environments, driven and motivated by accomplishing extraordinary objective
    Bonus:
    • 15+ years of experience in supply chain development, sourcing management, or strong engineering background in product development
    • Leadership and management experience
    • Direct experience partnering with C-suite executives and senior leaders in top ODM/OEM supplier partners
    The US base salary for this full-time position is the salary below + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary details during the hiring process.

    $153,000-$230,000 USD
