Job Description:
Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Anesthesiologist for a locum position in Flagstaff, AZ.

In this role, you will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

Preoperative Assessment:

Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations, including reviewing patient medical histories, performing physical examinations, and discussing anesthesia options and risks with patients.

Anesthesia Administration:

Administer various types of anesthesia (general, regional, local) during surgical and medical procedures, ensuring appropriate anesthesia depth and patient stability.

Intraoperative Monitoring:
Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological responses during surgery, adjusting anesthetic levels as necessary to maintain optimal conditions.

Postoperative Care:
Provide postoperative care, including monitoring recovery, managing pain control, and addressing any anesthesia-related complications.

Emergency Response:
Respond to anesthesia emergencies, utilizing advanced life support and resuscitation techniques as needed.

Collaboration:
Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective anesthesia care plans.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting all aspects of anesthesia care and patient interactions.


Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Valid medical license to practice in Arizona.
Board certification in Anesthesiology.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Anesthesiologist.
Proficiency in various anesthesia techniques and patient monitoring.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
