Job Description

A Norcross based company that specializes in conveyor belts used in airports and other industries is seeking a Direct Hire Bookkeeper. Hours are 6:30am to 3:30pm Mon- Thurs. & Friday 6:30am to 12:30pm. Pay 60K .

Job duties:

The Bookkeeper will be a supportive role for the Finance Department. You will perform assigned accounting and related clerical support functions including data entry, A/P, A/R transaction processing.

Responsibilities:

Code and process vendor and customer invoices
Record and reconcile accounts payable and receivables
Prepare payments
Prepare invoices for Rental units and spare parts
Process credit card payments against invoices
Monitor account receivable invoices
Process Vendor Invoices
Process Expense Reports
Coordinate with and prepare documents for Corporate Financial Team as needed
Assist Client Relations team and Operations team as needed

Desired Experience:

Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting A/P , A/R principles
Proven ability to calculate , post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Advanced Microsoft excel skills
Ability to manage and organize multiple projects , tasks, priorities and deadlines
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Self-motivated , highly organized , detail oriented and able to establish and document new financial reporting , policies and procedures for a growing organization
