Job summary
The Fire Captain (Shift) responds on fire apparatus within a double company station as part of an emergency crew actively participating in the mitigation of various types of emergencies providing guidance and oversight to subordinate personnel.
Responsibilities
- Planning conducting participating documenting Fire/EMS training within an assigned battalion.
- Enforcing policies adherence to procedures composing reviewing completing reports within an assigned battalion or station supervising assigned personnel in both emergency and non-emergency situations.
