Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Chief Operating Officer to join our team As the COO, you will oversee all aspects of our companys operations and procedures.
You will analyze the companys strengths and weaknesses, establish policies and procedures, and facilitate growth and expansion.The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of a wide range of business functions, including corporate finance, business infrastructure, and business development.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations within the team
Oversee financial plans for each region and ensure profitability with a focus on revenue growth generation versus expense control.
Mentor and develop all regional managers while empowering the team to perform more autonomously.Identify and communicate achievable goals and barriers to success with recommended solution options.
Maintain awareness of individual markets to stay abreast of trends in leasing, staffing, product conditions, supply, and customer traffic influencers.
Be a leader by example.Foster and model excellent communication, collaboration, flexibility, and a productive team environment in our communities and with corporate team members.
Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry compliance, code, and legal issues.Evaluate employee engagement and performance.
Assess the evolving needs of the organization.
Other duties as assigned.
Collaborate on long term strategies for success
Design and implement effective staff meetings
Promote and ensure a positive, thriving company culture
Responsible for hitting budgeted total net income
Recruit, train, develop, and lead the Regional Management team
Clearly communicate and implement company changes, promotions, and plans to staff
Establish company budgets
Identify under-performers and conduct disciplinary action if coaching is not a solution
Analyze monthly profit/loss statements
Responsible for hitting budgeted topline revenue targets
Offer ideas and insights for company growth and change
Collaborate with the Regional Management team on marketing and promotional campaigns
Cover all roles pertaining to assigned locations when needed
Qualifications :
Masters degree in a relevant field is preferred
Previous experience as a COO or similar role
Deep understanding of corporate finance, operations metrics, and strategic planning
Excellent leadership skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
