    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled AI Vision Systems Research and Development Innovator to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in researching, developing, and testing neural network and AI software solutions for vision systems.

    This role involves working on cutting-edge technologies in the field of industrial vision inspection and artificial intelligence to enhance and optimize vision-based applications.


    Primary Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

    Research and Development:
    Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and AI technologies.
    Conduct in-depth research on neural network architectures, algorithms, and methodologies applicable to vision systems.
    Collaborate with the development team to design and implement novel AI models and solutions.
    Bridge the gap between theory and practical application for manufacturing

    Testing and Validation:
    Develop comprehensive testing strategies and methodologies for AI vision systems.
    Create and maintain datasets for training and evaluating AI models.
    Execute rigorous testing procedures to assess the performance, accuracy, and robustness of vision-based AI systems in Manufacturing.
    Identify and document issues, defects, and opportunities for improvement.
    Create a standard test procedure for evaluating software applications

    Model Training and Optimization:
    Train and fine-tune deep learning models for various vision tasks, such as object detection, image classification, segmentation, and more.
    Optimize neural network models for efficiency, speed, and resource utilization.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into real-world applications.

    Data Management:
    Manage and curate large datasets for training and testing purposes.
    Ensure data quality and consistency, including data annotation and preprocessing.
    Explore data augmentation techniques to enhance model generalization.

    Performance Evaluation:
    Implement performance metrics and benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of AI vision systems.
    Analyze and interpret test results to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
    Continuously refine and iterate on AI models to improve performance.

    Documentation and Reporting:
    Prepare clear and concise documentation, including research findings, test plans, and reports.
    Communicate research and testing outcomes to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
    When required, interface with other functions (Manufacturing Engineers/Maintenance/New Model Launch/IT)
    Develop and Upgrade Vision System to World Class Standards
    Provide tools for useful data flow for manufacturing purposes, includes Machine data/Automated Text messages/Reporting Services/ETC.
    Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company

    Required Skills/Education/Experience:

    The ideal candidate will have/possess the following qualifications:
    Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.
    D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related field.
    Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
    Proficiency in deep learning frameworks and libraries.
    Solid understanding of computer vision concepts and algorithms.
    Experience with AI model training, validation, and optimization.
    Familiarity with GPU acceleration and cloud computing platforms.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Strong communication and teamwork skills.
