    Our company is currently seeking an experienced Power BI & Business Objects Applications Administrator to provide configuration Rights Management as well as application installation and maintenance for our Enterprise Content Management Team in Utah. The Administrator is responsible for system administration, solution design, installation, configuration, metadata management, business resiliency, user access controls, vulnerability management and general support of the enterprise Business Intelligence ecosystem of software applications. This is primarily focused around Power BI and Business Objects with supporting applications, its installation, rights and configurations of the application.

    The Power BI & Business Objects Applications Administrator will:


    • Install, patch, and configure the on-premises BI software applications: SAP Business Objects and Microsoft Power BI


    • Support the implementation and administration of MS Power BI and Business Objects


    • Monitor uptime and response time of the BI applications


    • Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues


    • Design, configure, and implement user access controls


    • Manage system vulnerability risk to acceptable levels in a timely manner


    • Provide after business hours support for production BI systems with an on-call rotation


    • Deliver on Data Governance's requirements for BI content metadata collection


    • Effectively management incident and change management

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:


    • 2+ years of experience with BI tools in diverse enterprise environment


    • Experience with Business Objects and Power BI


    • Experience installing, patching, and configuring enterprise class software packages


    • Excellent working knowledge in the use of database functions and packages within BI tools


    • Ability to effectively communicate with business users and managers


    • Must be able to manage time to meet deliverables and deadlines


    • Must be able to participate in on call rotation for nights and weekend coverage


    • Work effectively from office and home environments


    • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, (or related fields), or equivalent working experience


    • Critical attributes include:

    Preferred Qualifications:


    • Experience with SAS or InfoBurst a plus


    • Experience in automating processes through programming languages (such as Python or Java) or with applications automations tools like Power Automate


    • Knowledge of Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) concepts and methodologies


    • Knowledge of database platforms (Teradata, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Greenplum, IBM DB2, and Postgres)


    • Excellent working knowledge in the use of database functions and packages within BI tools

    Bonus Qualifications:


    • Experience with Content Cloud, Xnet, FileNet or KoFax.


    • The ability to make team member laugh
