- Perform pharmacological experiments in acute brain slice preparation.
- Perform behavioral measurements.
- Perform immunohistochemistry.
- Analyze the data.

- Mentor and train graduate students.
- Education: MD or PhD in the field of pharmacology, physiology, molecular biology and/or neuroscience
- Background in physiology, pharmacology, biophysics, neuroscience or anesthesiology.
- Experience with slice physiology and patch clamp recordings is desirable but not required.

Job Summary:
Post-doctoral fellow position available to study methamphetamine regulate of TAAR1 signaling and aversion behaviors.
Our research involves whole-cell voltage-clamp and current-clamp recordings from brain-slices and optogenetic studies examining circuitry underlying methamphetamine-induced aversive behaviors in rats and mice.
Key Responsibilities:
The Post-doctoral Fellow reports to the Principal Investigator, Dr. Susan Ingram.
