    Description

    Job Summary

    The Manufacturing Technical Specialist role, part of the engineering job family, is crucial at a state-of-the-art large molecule drug substance facility in Oceanside. We are seeking individuals with a strong Pharma Technical Behaviors, adaptable mindset, and teamwork capabilities to join the dynamic OSUT team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with different teams and enhance the bioprocess facility.

    • Experience a cutting-edge working environment with single-use technology and digital systems.
    • Take part in Operations, Process Support, and Process Engineering activities.
    • Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful equipment installations and operational qualifications.
    • Primary responsibilities include participating in safety reviews, coordinating start-up activities, and conducting troubleshooting tasks.

    Qualifications:

    • 15+ years of industry experience, with a focus on biologics manufacturing.
    • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
    • Proficiency in cGMP regulations and biologics manufacturing.
    • Skills & Competencies include excellent communication, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering quality results.

    Work Environment:

    • Engage in office, manufacturing, and laboratory activities.
    • Flexible schedule required for start-up activities.
    • Occasional work in clean room environments with specific safety requirements.
    • Expected to work primarily on a standard schedule, but may involve a temporary alternate schedule during technical runs.
