    The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

    is seeking a

    Systems Engineer Specialist

    to join our team. You will provide support and administration for the network, systems, and utility applications.

    As a Systems Engineer Specialist, you'll provide end-user technology support and be responsible for installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Servers, Windows-based applications, networking equipment, the Microsoft 365 stack, enterprise scanning applications, system monitoring, Active Directory, and other various services and applications as needed.


    This role supports end-user technology needs and is responsible for software configuration to support telephony, network communications, SharePoint, scanning, system monitoring, and user authentication and roles.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Network Administration Maintenance and Troubleshooting


    • Maintain and enhance network as needed, including the DMZ, Windows servers, Active directory, routers, etc. with both hardware and software.
    • Upgrade and maintain SQL Server including any access restrictions and reports of activity as required.
    • Maintain network security including firewalls and domain access.
    • Monitor firewall reports.
    • Maintain scanning hardware and software system.
    Reporting and Documentation


    • Update Systems and Processes (S and P) manuals with new or changed procedures and system documentation.
    • Communicate activities, service calls, and project progress with leadership.
    Security Maintenance


    • Create and maintain testing environments.
    • Develop and maintain a secure network with the industry recommended practices including PCI and ISO
    • Maintain industry best practices for virus and malware control, data loss prevention, intrusion prevention, and wireless network security.
    Software Development


    • Write and maintain hardware configurations, login scripts, .bat programs, and perform other software development and scripting, as necessary.
    Email Systems Support


    • Maintain and enhance messaging and email services.
    • Provide leadership with information, guidance, and recommendations on technology implementations.
    End User Support


    • Troubleshoot and resolve end user PC problems with hardware and software.
    • Demonstrate and drive continuous process improvement and service initiatives for Information Technology.
    Miscellaneous Information Technology Support


    Vendor contract support:
    ~ Utilize technical support to solve problems.

    ~ Serve as contact and participate in user's groups, conferences, product testing, and education.

    ~ Serve as contact person for network equipment and security products.


    • Provide backup and support with Information Technology operational duties, including IBMi operations and workflow management.
    • Manage VoIP network and IP phone system.
    • Other duties as needed.
    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications


    Education:
    Associate degree in Computer Science, Computer Networking, or related field.


    Experience:

    Four years of experience in:

    • Systems and Network administration

    Microsoft Windows servers:
    installing, maintaining, configuring, and patching

    Utility applications:
    installing, configuring, patching and troubleshooting

    Network circuits and network appliances:
    maintaining, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting


    • Network and systems security settings and appliances administration

    Two years of experience in:

    • Phone systems configuration and administration
    • System and network monitoring software configuration and administration
    • Microsoft 365 Stack including Teams, Intune, SharePoint, etc.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Networking, or related field.
    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
    • Certified Information Systems Security professional (CISSP)

    Working knowledge and experience with:
    ~ Microsoft 365 Stack (Microsoft Teams, Intune, SharePoint, Security Center, Exchange, etc.)

    ~ Next Generation Firewalls and Network Load Balancers

    ~ Writing/editing PowerShell scripts

    ~ Microsoft Hyper V or other virtualization software

    ~ Windows Server and Client Operating Systems

    ~ ITIL support framework and service desk software

    ~ Microsoft Cloud Architecture

    ~ Process and Procedure Mapping

    The initial training period requires approximately three months onsite daily at our office in Mendota Heights- with a hybrid option following with work from home (2-3 days per week).
