    Description

    Pay Range:$50/hr to $60/hr (As per the experience)

    Position: Registered Nurse- Med Surg

    Location: Petoskey, MI

    Shift: Nights 3x12 (19:00 - 07:00), 36 hours weekly

    Contract Length: 13 weeks with potential extensions

    Floating: Required

    Weekends: Every Other Weekend

    On Call: None

    Description:

    Nursing on this unit is patient-centered and focused on patient safety and delivery of quality care for positive patient outcomes.     Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Clinical Expertise: Collaborates with other members of the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological, psychosocial, spiritual assessment consistent with patient/significant others changing needs & goals, utilizing the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) and the Caring-Quality Model.
    • Knowledge: Seeks life-long learning through certification, advanced practice, higher education, and literature review.
    • Leadership/Credibility: Demonstrates leadership through sharing of knowledge, being a clinical resource, and professional role model.
    • Communication: Demonstrates effective communication through collegial relationships, SBAR, and interdisciplinary communication.
    • Productivity: Demonstrates enhanced time management skills and ability to assist others in order to contribute to the overall performance of the team.
    • Performs other duties consistent with the purpose of the job as directed by general and unit-specific competency-based objectives.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 2+ Years of Experience - Required
    • Travel- Highly Preferred
    • ACLS - Preferred

    CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

    • BLS

    STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
