    Job DescriptionJob Description Multimedia Technician I:

    We are seeking a skilled Multimedia Technician with a strong blend of IT expertise and digital media/web development/social media management experience. As a Multimedia Technician, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of multimedia production, maintenance, and distribution across various platforms.

    Duties and Responsibilities of Multimedia Technician I:

    • Collaborate with the creative team to understand multimedia project requirements.

    • Utilize IT skills to troubleshoot and maintain multimedia equipment and software.

    • Produce and edit multimedia content including videos, images, and audio files.

    • Develop and maintain multimedia assets for web platforms, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.

    • Manage social media accounts and implementing digital marketing strategies to enhance online presence.

    • Monitor and analyze multimedia performance metrics to inform future strategies.

    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in multimedia production and digital media.

    • Travel throughout our 10 - county region to provide IT maintenance support and obtain media content.

    Critical Qualifications of Multimedia Technician I:

    • Associate's or Technical College diploma in a technology related field.

    • Career experience may be considered in lieu of degree or diploma.

    • One year of career experience in related position.

    • Proven experience with multimedia production tools and software such as Adobe.

    • Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, WIX).

    • Strong understanding of social media platforms and experience in social media management.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong communication and organizational skills.

    • Skills in computer networking and familiarity with Office 365.

    • Knowledge of both Mac and PC products, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
