- Oversees the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date academic records for all students
- Oversees grade entry, probation/suspension process, GPA calculations
- Manages the process of transcript requests, degree verifications, and other related services
- Ensures compliance with university policies for records management and retention
- Ensures compliance with VA and NCAA requirements
- Coordinates and facilitates the course registration process for each academic term
- Collaborates with academic departments to develop and maintain the course schedule, academic calendar, registration calendar, and drop/add schedule
- Optimizes course offerings based on student demand, faculty availability, and program requirements
- Provides oversight for Jenzabar academic modules
- Effectively utilizes Student Information System and technology tools to maintain degree programs and audits
- Generates and analyzes data related to student enrollment, academic performance, and other relevant metrics
- Prepares reports for university administration and accreditation purposes
- Produces annual assessment for SACSCOC
- Produces monthly reports for NSC enrollment verification
- Produces degree verify report for NSC each semester
- Leads the production of the University Catalog annually
- Ensures compliance with university policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards related to academic records and student information, course registration, withdrawals, and prerequisite requirements
- Serves as a source for interpreting policy based on knowledge of institutional and external standards
- Coordinates all academic logistics for commencement annually
- Confers and defers degrees each semester
- Hires, trains, and supervises Registrar's Office staff, including the VA School Certifying Official and NCAA Compliance Representative
- Effectively utilizes the Student Information System (Jenzabar) for various tasks, including student records management, registration, and reporting
- Operates at a high level of proficiency in the technology tools used by the Registrar's office (ex. Stellic, Acalog and TES)
- Provides training and support to faculty and staff on the use of the technologies employed by the Registrar's office as needed
- Manages departmental budget(s)
- Oversees technology needs and works with vendors
- Serves as a conduit for information to flow in and out of the Registrar's office to other departments, schools and offices throughout PBA, as well as to students and parents
- Serves on Provost Administrative Council, Data Governance, New Program Implementation, PBA Online, and Academic Calendar Committees
- Hosts Faculty Workshops and attend Faculty Senate as ex officio member
- Maintains Registrar information on MyPBA and the website
- Performs other duties as assigned

Summary
In support of the university's mission and enrollment objectives, the Registrar ensures the efficient and accurate management of academic records, student registration and course scheduling.
The Registrar interprets and enforces university policies and provides excellent service to students and faculty in scheduling, registration, and degree completion.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of technological proficiency, particularly in the Student Information System.
Records ManagementEducation and Experience:
A masters degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of experience in Higher Education is required.
