    Description

    Northstrat is seeking a Full-Stack Software Developer (Multiple openings for various experience levels available) to join a growing program comprised of multiple agile development teams.

    As a member of the team, you'll participate in our fully Agile development process, including all Agile ceremonies (stand-up, Iteration Planning, Demos and Retros).

    Our User-Centered Design process offers the opportunity to receive weekly input and feedback from our end-user customers as we iteratively develop and deploy our features As part of the development process, you will solve unique and complex problems, using the latest technologies to create innovative solutions that are highly scalable and secure and deploy to a fully automated DevOps pipeline.


    Technologies you will use include:
    Amazon Web Services (AWS)

    Java Frontend frameworks like Vue and Bootstrap Spring Framework Automated testing tools like Mockito, JUnit, Cypress, Jest, etc Databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, etc Source code management tools like Git, GitLab, Bitbucket Issue tracking tools like Jira and Confluence DevSecOps pipeline tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, etc Required Skills:
    Clearance: Must have TS/SCI with CI poly (or be willing to take CI poly)

    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in STEM field or related experience Available to work in-person in Sterling, VA or Aurora, CO

    Desired Skills:

    Proficiency with web platform technologies and the latest web standards Experience with either Web/Front End, Backend, or Full Stack Demonstrated experience working with others in a team environment Willingness to learn new skills and technologies Development on Linux OS and using Amazon Web Services Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps processes Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, etc Experience with source code management tools Experience with container management (Kubernetes) Current Security+ certification or willingness to obtain Benefits At Northstrat, we emphasize work-life balance for our employees, and we back it up by providing top-notch benefits that are flexible to meet each employee's life situation in a culture that fosters diversity and creativity.

    Individual Benefits Account (IBA)

    The purpose of the IBA is to provide attractive benefits to all full-time employees of Northstrat on a flexible basis that enables each covered employee to select a package that best suits his or her needs.

    IBA Benefits accrue each month in the amount equivalent to 25% of the employee's monthly compensation rate. Profit Sharing Plan (PSP)

    The PSP is a qualified retirement plan that Northstrat funds semi-annually in the amount equivalent to 25% (up to the IRS contribution limit) of the employee's compensation.

    Stock Options
    Northstrat is an employee-owned company, all new employees are offered stock options. Flex Time
    Northstrat does not mandate specific working hours. Although project requirements may dictate schedules.
