    Cardiothoracic Imaging Section Department of Radiology Medical College of Wisconsin

    The Cardiothoracic Section of the Department of Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a board-certified radiologist with the fellowship training in Cardiothoracic imaging. Successful candidates should bring strong clinical abilities, enthusiasm, and commitment to MCWs academic missions and field of Cardiothoracic Imaging.

  • The Department of Radiology is recognized as a progressive and forward-thinking team that continues to expand with a dynamic multi-site hospital and clinic network in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. MCW Radiology offers a hybrid model allowing faculty to read and work in both the academic and community settings.
  • The Cardiothoracic Section performs and interprets the entire spectrum of Cardiothoracic Imaging with robust CMR and CTA programs, benefitting from in house expansive 3D lab for image processing and Cardiac MR clinical and research physicist support. Cardiothoracic section has strong relationships with internal medicine and surgery departments and participate in variety of multidisciplinary conferences.
  • The Department of Radiology supports a one-year fellowship in Cardiothoracic imaging. Fellows spend time both at the main campus and at outside imaging centers. Fellows participate actively in the clinical and research components of the practice.
  • The Radiology team includes 90 clinical faculty radiologists, the vast majority with advanced fellowship training, 11 imaging science faculty, 15 instructor/fellows, 45 residents, 15 advanced practice providers, and 69 support staff.
  • The Department of Radiology provides post-graduate fellowships, diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology residency programs, and medical student elective clinical rotations.
