    We are currently searching for a Mechanical Engineer for our Dallas, TX office.

    The individual will be responsible for:
    Designing mechanical systems for highly integrated facilities. Perform load calculations, static pressure calculations, pump head calculations, energy analysis, etc.
    Develop mechanical specifications, AutoCAD and 3D BIM modeling of systems, mechanical equipment schedules, etc.

    The applicant will be expected to work independently with minor guidance on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects.

    Position may include field investigation and mechanical inspection for projects.

    As required, the Mechanical PE is expected to work with others, with the team, or outside of the team to complete mechanical system designs for more complex projects.

    Bachelors or Master Degree in Mechanical or Architectural EngineeringPE requiredPosition requires high verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office productsPrefer proficiency with RevitExperience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED is desirableMust have a valid Texas Driver's License

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Master degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with HVAC- related emphasisMinimum 5 years experience with mechanical system design for healthcare, education, science and technology, and federalExperience in HVAC and plumbing system designMechanical system design experience for water/waste water experience is a bonusWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it's also about what you do and how you do it.
