- Encourage patients to turn, cough, and take deep breaths

- Report equipment that is out of order
- Maintain a safe environment
- Empty drains, canisters, urine bags, bedpans, and emesis basins
- Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens as ordered
- Perform tasks such as ROM and assist with ambulatory devices
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Hospital experience preferred
- Medical terminology a plus
- CPR certification required
- Tennessee State CNA certification required for Certified Nursing Assistants
