    Description


    Review transfer pricing documentation prepared by external service providers and assist with the transfer pricing projectsAssist with the calculations of the international tax items, such as GILTI, FDII, FTC and BEPS 2.0.Assist with tax controversies, including federal, state, and foreign income tax audit inquiries and tax noticesAssist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual worldwide tax provision including current and deferred tax provision calculations, ASC 718 analysis, detailing uncertain tax positions, tax account roll-forwards and reconciliations, and tax disclosures for quarterly and annual SEC filingsAssist with preparation and review of the federal and state workpaper and preparation of quarterly income tax estimates and extensionsWork with various groups within the tax and finance department to gather data needed to support income tax calculationsPerform research on tax technical issues and potential tax legislations and draft tax memoranda and other written documentsProactively identify areas for workflow improvements and implement solutions to streamline the tax accounting/compliance processes with AlteryxOther ad hoc projects as directed by managementJob RequirementsBS/BA in Accounting (or equivalent experience); CPA and/or MS in Taxation is a plusA minimum of 5-7 years of tax experience at a Big 4 accounting firm and/or public multinational companyWorking tax accounting knowledge and ability to research and provide insights on tax issuesStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other teamsHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word; experience with Alteryx is a plusFortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.

    Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Earnings for this position are expected to be $90,000 - $120,000 per year.

    Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

    All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Companys discretion.
