    Core Responsibilities & Duties:

    Load and unload goods from trucks by forklift and by hand.

    Organize dock space for receiving incoming shipments.

    Maintain inventory of shipments and cargo on-hand in the warehouse.

    Pick, wrap, and stage orders to be shipped.

    Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the warehouse.

    Stack goods in the correct storage lanes, following inventory control instructions.

    Check that loads are secure.

    Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment, sweep, mop, etc.

    Perform all computer or necessary technology gadgets necessary to track various aspects of goods when needed.

    Assist other departments as needed.

    Crosstrain as needed to learn all warehouse functions.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements & Qualifications:

    Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills.

    Sorting and grouping skills.

    Must be able to read and understand the difference in product labels and load ticket instructions.

    Must be able to count large quantities of products and materials.

    Must be able to read/hear and understand procedures for performing work.

    Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled with exposure to hot/humid or cold weather conditions.

    Familiar with cross dock, trans loads, and distribution.

    Must have at least 2 yrs. experience on sit-down Forklift.

    Must have great communication with co-workers and management.
