    Job Summary


    Provides overall leadership for the Accounts Payable Department in the Nashville Shared Service Center ("NSSC"), interacting with both the domestic finance organization and international employees.

    Possesses the leadership and technical skills to interact and communicate with all the Department's customers and employees to achieve the NSSC's vision to become a world-class service organization within the company providing excellent customer service and high quality work within a cost effective solution.

    Responsibilities


    • Responsible for managing all Accounts Payable process including invoice processing, banking, vendor maintenance, and disbursements.
    • Partner with Procurement and Corporate Card teams with the management of the company's virtual card program for vendor payments.
    • Partner with Procure to Pay (P2P) Center of Excellence (COE) manager to implement and support best practices for AP invoice processing and exceptions in Aribia system.
    • Partner with NSSC and Corporate Finance Leadership in providing the vision and objectives for the team.
    • Design, implement, and maintain standardized accounting practices.
    • Work closely with the Business Unit's finance staff, internal audit, Global Strategic Services (GSS), corporate departments, external auditors, offshore resources, and other key members of the Corporate Controller's group.
    • Participate in the company's acquisition integration team and lead effort to integrate AP processes and systems.
    • Identify areas for process improvement, working with appropriate Corporate and business units to design, test, and implement solutions.
    • Responsible for the company's 1099 process and vendor master file management.
    • Lead efforts to maximize working capital for the company.
    • Monitor and maintain Accounts Payable monthly metrics.
    • Manage quarterly SOX compliance for area of responsibility.
    • Staff and develop the Accounts Payable team, including development of team goals and performance measures, evaluate performance and providing feedback to the team on overall and individual performance.
    • Effectively manage the work product of Off-Shore resources.
    • Assumes other responsibilities as needed or assigned by executive management.
    Qualifications


    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • A minimum of seven (7) years in an Accounts Payable and/or Shared Services environment
    • Experience in a SAP/Ariba payables environment preferred
    • Strong data analysis skills required
    • Demonstrated skills in customer service, quality improvement, problem solving, and resource management
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills

    The national pay range for this role is $74600- $ The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee.

    The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to:
    education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location.

    In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
