    The Consolidated Court Automation Programs (CCAP) is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Software Engineer. The CCAP Software Development department is responsible for developing and supporting custom software solutions throughout the Wisconsin Court System. CCAP supports over 3,000 users in 80 locations statewide.

    In addition, CCAP provides custom web-based software for thousands of attorneys, support staff and self-represented litigants to interact with Wisconsin courts.

    Position Summary


    LOCATION :
    Madison, WI with occasional statewide travel required.

    Certain positions with this department may allow remote work for a portion of their work schedule, depending on the needs of the position and the work unit.

    The position is headquartered in Wisconsin and selected candidates may be expected to report to office locations in Wisconsin on short notice.

    Employees residing outside the state of Wisconsin are not eligible for full‐time remote work.


    SALARY:
    Entry-level Software Engineers can expect a minimum starting salary of $79,996 based on qualifications.

    Candidates with more experience can expect a salary range of $92,393 to $101,628 annually, both with a State of Wisconsin benefits package.

    Salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.

    Job Details

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1) Collaboratively develop software applications for the Wisconsin Court System. 2) Participate in the full-life-cycle software development process. 3) Provide technical assistance to customer support staff. 4) Assist with the effort to standardize software development methodologies across all CCAP teams.

    Qualifications
    1) Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. 2) A minimum of two years of relevant programming experience. 3) Training or experience in developing complex web applications. 4) Training or experience in writing complex SQL queries. 5) Experience using Linux as a development platform 6) Experience working in a team environment. 7) Training or experience in functional languages such as Scala, F#, Erlang, Self, Scheme, OCaml, Haskell, or Clojure preferred. 8) Training or experience with PureScript/Halogen preferred.
