POSITION SUMMARY
The School Coach works under the direction of the Assistant Activities Director. They should
be a creative motivator, have effective communication skills, and possess a positive coaching style. This person must also set appropriate level expectations for their sports team while maintaining strong, healthy relationships with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies and regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

EVALUATION
Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of certified or classified personnel.
SALARY SCHEDULE
This position will be paid according to the approved Coach Contracts Salary Schedule.
$3000
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Sport Calendar, unless otherwise assigned by supervisor.
CLEARANCES
Employment is contingent on a local, state, and federal criminal background clearance.
