Experienced construction resident engineers needed for construction inspection on Rhode Island highway construction projects. Multiple openings.
Duties include ensuring construction is executed in accordance with the contract documents, Manage day-to-day construction oversight, Monitor Contractor performance, schedule, responsiveness and effectiveness; Manage Contractor to maintain project cost, schedule, and quality; Manage inspection staff and the delivery of daily inspection reports; Act as liaison to design staff to respond to Contractor RFI's and review of shop drawings, Provide technical review of construction plans and specifications and project changes for constructability and practicality, Manage Contractor payment process and recommend adjustments as required to monitor the Contractor.
