Job summary
This position performs intermediate skilled work in the operation of motorized equipment used in the construction repair and maintenance of public infrastructure systems related facilities does related work as required Operates construction excavation hauling maintenance equipment including dump truck tractor mower backhoe other mechanized equipment in the construction repair maintenance of streets utilities storm drainage systems related facilities Transports tools other construction equipment to from construction sites Adheres Manual Uniform Traffic Control Devices standards within rights-of-way Inspects maintains tools equipment vehicles proper use care Performs routine minor repairs automotive equipment Performs general public works grounds maintenance work assigned- Knowledge operating servicing construction traffic laws regulations governing equipment operation
- Know occupational hazards safety precautions necessary proper operation varied types specialized maintenance construction.
