    Position Summary:

    ERFT's Global Finance Technology team is looking for motivated new talent to manage the Technology suite supporting the CFO ORCO group and support operational excellence within the team. This role will ensure that the people they manage are developing through coaching, mentoring, feedback and hands-on career development; creating the technology strategy for the team and ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable application standards, enterprise data management standards, global records management standards, and data quality and control practices for authorized data sources; advancement and advocacy of modern, Agile solution delivery practices and great design, engineering and organizational practices.

    This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards, promoting design, engineering, and organizational practices, and advocating and advancing modern, Agile solution delivery practices. Job expectations may include coaching, mentoring, providing feedback and hands on career development, identifying emerging talent, fostering leadership skills, and managing stakeholders.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives
    • Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills
    • Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews), ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met
    • Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization
    • Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain
    • Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers

    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience
    • 8-10 years of IT professional experience
    • At least 2 years of managerial experience
    • Experience in databases (relational/document/etc.) including NoSQL databases
    • Adept in using Algorithms and Data Structures
    • Experience building distributed and scalable complex services as well as robust micro services
    • Experience leading a global team of software engineers
    • Proven experience designing & developing enterprise scale solutions
    • Ability to document, design and code for maintainability
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent leadership skills; Demonstrates problem solving skills and takes initiative
    • Proactive, enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills
    • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment
    Desired Qualifications:
    • Experience with web services development and REST interfaces
    • Analytical skills to perform technical and functional analysis with strong communication skills
    • Experience with working external vendor companies that support BOA applications
    • Advanced knowledge of .NET, Python, C/C++ or Java
    • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Ansible
    • Experience in Python or Java development is advantageous
    • Experience with automated SQL unit testing
