    Summary


    The Night Shift Production Trainer is a dedicated resource responsible for training, coaching, and developing employees on specific area processes and job duties.

    The Trainer is expected to understand safety procedures and SOPs. They are required to safely lead and develop employees in accordance with our Philosophy. The hours are Monday-Friday 6pm-2am and weekends as needed to accommodate training requirements.

    Responsibilities


    • Training - Trainer dedicated to training employees in the area with the most concentrated effort on new employees. Responsible for training, developing and coaching new employees in safety, quality and productivity utilizing all available training resources (30%)
    • Safety - Ensure and promote safety and provide a safe working environment for all team members through training and submitting OFI's. (20%)
    • Accountability - Directs and ensures training curriculum is being followed and completed on time. Responsible for coordinating with Team Leaders on training videos and other requirements. Provide feedback to employee and leadership as necessary. (10%)
    • Quality - Understanding of quality standards and expectations and be able to teach and ensure those requirements are met. (5%)
    • Productivity - Willingness and ability to assist in driving the team to their goals and setting a good example for others in the area. Utilize resources to drive new employee performance. (10%)
    • Communication - Communicates the importance of WI policies and practices. Ability to objectively evaluate training progress and communicate to Trainee, Team Leader, Manager, Employee Council, and HR. (10%)
    • Compliance - Tracks training records including system entry, tracks and conducts recertifications, ensures employees are trained when needed after training documents are updated. This includes writing, proofing, and revising training documents. (10%)

    • Exceptional understanding and ability to train to JI's, SWI and SOP, TBP items and Worthington expectations
    • Must be qualified to train in multiple positions with a desire to continue to learn and grow in the role.
    Education / Training Required


    • Leadership training
    • Train the Trainer training
    • Solid Knowledge of Transformation Principles
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Platform (Word, Excel, Power Point)
    • Knowledge of document compliance systems
