    Product Design Engineer at Snap Lab, Snap Inc.

    Snap Lab, home to innovative hardware products, is seeking a Product Design Engineer to join their world-class research & development team.

    What you'll do:

    • Design, prototype, and analyze new products from concept to production.
    • Collaborate with various engineering teams.
    • Conduct failure analysis and implement design improvements.
    • Support development builds at suppliers.
    • Create detailed design documentation.
    • Develop technical experiments for design selection.
    • Lead technical design reviews.
    • Travel internationally up to 20%.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong engineering fundamentals.
    • Proficiency in CAD software.
    • Technical background in product design.
    • Strong communication skills.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    • 4+ years of industry experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    • Experience with consumer electronics.
    • Experience with mechanical design of various components.
    • Experience with overseas manufacturing.
    • Experience with Nx CAD software.

    Compensation:

    Salary ranges vary based on work location and market conditions. This position is also eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
