    Description


    CNC Machinist Peoplelink Staffing in Houston, TX is seeking CNC Machinist with experience operating CNC machines to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Candidate must be able to problem solve, follow instructions, and work well under stress. Must know various methods for measuring with micrometers and calipers and use calculators and computers.


    Responsibilities:
    Use CNC machine tools and CNC programming equipment.
    Set up work piece and hand tools.
    Perform quality checks and make necessary adjustments.
    Cut materials based on blueprint specifications.
    Assemble parts, using machines and tools.
    Operate metal lathe, milling machine, drill press, and bench grinder.
    Record production information on time cards.
    Follow safety rules.
    Meet production deadlines.
