    Duro-Last Roofing, the world's largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has a full-time opening for an

    Inventory Control Technician

    in their Shipping Department. The position is located at our plant in Carrollton, TX.

    Position Responsibilities:
    Verify all transfer documentation that is received into warehouse
    Accurately post inventory transactions for warehouse
    Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
    Investigate and resolve negative balances and all other inventory discrepancies
    Perform verifications of data entered by other employees
    Conduct month end material count and be a key player for year-end physical inventory count
    Monitor inventory levels, order materials as needed and process all returns
    Creating and Maintaining shop orders
    Other duties as assigned

    Position Requirements:
    Must have at least 1 to 3 years of experience in inventory or distribution
    Must have at least a high school diploma or GED
    Experience with bar-coding preferred
    Must be accurate and have a high attention to detail
    Experience with cycle counts and year/month-end inventory
    Self-motivated and a team player
    Excellent clerical skills to include MS Excel/Word and AS-400 Mapics experience desired
    Excellent written/verbal communication skills as well as excellent math skills
    Must be flexible with hours and able to work overtime
    Must have or be able to obtain a forklift certification
