    A large regional referral hospital and Level II Trauma Center in the

    Winchester, Virginia

    area is hiring a


    CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (
    CST)

    for a permanent, full-time role.

    This role is ideal for a highly skilled surgical technologist with strong sterile technique and cardiovascular surgical experience who thrives in a high-acuity operating room environment.

    Position Overview
    Permanent, full-time role

    Start date:

    ASAP
    Level II Trauma Center environment
    Demonstrates expertise in sterile and aseptic technique and applies knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and surgical technology to support cardiovascular surgical interventions
    Shift Details

    06:30-17:00

    Every other weekend required
    40 hours per week
    Compensation & Incentives

    Pay range:
    $31.75 – $41.75 per hour (based on experience)
    Shift differentials if applicable
    Eligible for up to $15,000 sign-on bonus
    Relocation assistance available up to $7,500
    Complete benefits package available
    Key Responsibilities
    Prepare and maintain sterile surgical field
    Ensure proper functioning and readiness of surgical equipment and instruments
    Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments and supplies during procedures
    Maintain strict aseptic technique and infection prevention standards
    Assist with patient positioning and surgical preparation
    Handle surgical specimens accurately and safely
    Perform surgical counts to ensure patient safety
    Support surgical team throughout cardiovascular procedures
    Maintain organized and safe operating room environment
    Etc.
    Requirements
    Virginia state license required prior to start of employment
    NBSTSA Certification required
    BLS (AHA)
