    Talent Acquisition Specialist - Northbrook, IL

    NLR is expanding quickly, and were building a team of recruiters and business developers to take us to the next level. NLR recruiters are responsible for developing a strong pipeline of candidates through direct sourcing, networking, internet mining and applicant tracking tools. He or she will interpret the clients recruiting strategy, identify sources, develop and execute recruiting plans to meet our clients hiring needs.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    • Consult with the client to understand business needs and define candidate qualifications to determine sourcing needs.
    • Work with client sales team to understand client planning and build an appropriate recruitment strategy.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and use the most current market data in strategy plan and execution
    • Proactively build relationships with potential candidates, creating a robust pipeline of highly qualified professionals for current and future staffing needs.
    • Creatively source for open roles and pipe lining efforts, using multiple channels to recruit candidates, which may include, but is not limited to: colleges, association meetings, meet ups, industry meetings, job fairs, internet and employee referrals
    • Conduct candidate screenings and qualification interviews

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Bachelors degree
    • Headhunting experience a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
    • Expert level LinkedIn user and experience using ATS systems a plus. We will train to get to this level.
    • Ability to work independently and drive recruitment process with internal clients.
    • Excellent time management, prioritization and judgment skills with a positive attitude, high energy and focused attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate effectively to candidates and clients and strong negotiation, closing, and phone skills.
