    Description

    Position Summary

    The requirements and configuration management analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that project requirements are properly documented, analyzed, and managed throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate will establish, implement, and manage change control processes, tracking and evaluating change requests, assessing their impact on project scope, schedule, and resources, and facilitating their approval or rejection. You will support education of configuration management processes, work closely with stakeholders to review, and refine Change Requests, facilitate enterprise Change Control Board meetings, and support daily CM Team check-ins with stakeholders. The requirements and change control analyst acts as a gatekeeper, maintaining a balance between project stability and the need for necessary changes while ensuring adherence to project requirements and minimizing risks associated with scope creep.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Manage the project's change request log.
    • Facilitate and participate in requirements and change control activities, discussions, meetings, and coordination efforts with stakeholders.
    • Oversee the implementation and status updates of change requests in coordination with stakeholders.
    • Evaluate documentation to accurately describe, identify, and track current or new change requests.
    • Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, variations, patterns, and insights.
    • Compile and submit regular reports to update senior and executive management on change control operations and progress.
    • Assist in educating change request owners, stakeholders, and senior leadership on requirements and change control Participate in continuous improvements to the change control process for efficiency, quality, and reliability.
    • Perform other duties as required.

    Position Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
    • 1-3 years' experience in change control or related field, demonstrating consistent successful client delivery.
    • Proficiency in project and requirements change control management methodologies, tools, and software.
    • Experience with SharePoint and agility tools such as Agile IQ/JIRA, and Agility.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
