    Description

    **Description:**

    Aerotek is looking for mutliple machinist including for Weiler Lathes, Integrex, and Slant/flatbed Lathe experience machining of Customer Owned Repair Tools with minimal training. This will include turning OD's, ID deep boring with carbide assist boring bars & cutting API Rotary Shouldered Connections. You will need to create programs using Weiler Conversational Programming.

    Perform housekeeping tasks as necessary to maintain a clean and safe work area.

    Notify supervisory personnel if a nonconforming condition is disclosed.

    Set controls of feed, speed, depth of cut without supervision.

    Understand and apply optimal part holding techniques.

    Follows safety guidelines and procedures established by the company.

    Be able to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and/or calipers

    Machining parts to print specifications.

    Must be able to set tooling and apply offsets

    **Skills:**

    Cnc, Lathe, Mill, Cnc machine, Integrex

    **Qualifications:**

    + 5+ years of machining experience on Weiler E90/E70, OR Slant bed lathe OR flatbed lathe OR Integrex experience, as well OD and ID Calipers, Steel Rule and other related hand tools. Understanding of MSDSs.

    + Must be able to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and/or calipers

    + Be able to identify non-conforming parts using precision measuring instruments

    + Must be able to set tooling and apply offsets

    + Using tooling and material data the employee must be able to calculate surface footage to machine components.

    + They are working with stainless steel and Inconel and will be asked to deburr their own product while machine is running

    **Specifics:**

    + Morning and Night shift openings, 12 hour shifts

    + Permenant hire openings only
