    Description

    Title: Armored Automotive Technician

    Location: Columbus, OH

    Length: 6M Contract-to-Hire

    Pay: $18-24/hr

    Schedule: 2nd shift (4pm-2am,) Monday-Thursday

    Job Description

    Brooksource is hiring multiple Armored Automotive Technicians and an Automotive Painter to join our government client who is stripping down brand-new SUV's and rebuilding them with armor and performance enhancing technology for usage by the U.S government overseas.

    Responsibilities

    • Disassemble and/or install new mechanical and electrical vehicle components.
    • Follow standard procedures to assemble products.
    • Maintain a safe working environment.

    Qualifications

    • Military service highly preferred of any MOS.
    • School diploma, clear background check and drug screening (including marijuana) required.
    • Experience (paid or unpaid) with automotives, heavy machinery or other equipment that contains a motor.
    • Automotive Painter candidates need certifications or demonstratable experience and are eligible for a higher pay rate.
    • Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift in repetitive motions.
