    PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

    The Business Development Manager III's role is to identify loan and deposit opportunities by engaging with customers both within and outside the Banking Center(s). This position focuses on expanding Republic Bank's customer base and setting an example for client-focused interactions.

    The responsibilities include promoting retail deposit and loan products to individual and business clients in the vicinity of the Banking Center(s), as well as cross-selling additional services. The position entails fostering a dynamic sales environment and ensuring efficient, professional customer service.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Eight (8) years of experience in the financial industry.
    • Proven ability to sell and cross-sell banking products and services.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet tools.
    • NMLS registration.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Drive financial growth at the banking center.
    • Identify, process, and close commercial lending opportunities.
    • Promote, establish, and manage retail deposit and loan products for individual and business clients.
    • Lead the sales efforts at the Banking Center(s) and develop staff sales skills.
    • Manage existing deposits and loans to drive growth and enhance client retention.
    • Handle client issues effectively and participate in community networking.
    • Identify opportunities for various services and work with respective departments for client referrals.
    • Conduct regular sales meetings to maximize sales potential.
    • Stay updated on compliance requirements and assist in implementation if needed.
    • Uphold the Bank's values, fostering a culture of trust, cooperation, and dedication.
    • Perform any other assigned duties and projects willingly.

    INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Self-motivated team player with a sense of urgency.
    • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    The role may require sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting. Specific vision abilities are necessary for the position.

    Other Requirements:

    • Travel between branches and client locations.
    • Flexible work hours including evenings and weekends.
    • Keep updated on industry developments and changes.
    • Physical presence at the worksite is essential.
